A full single-player expansion is coming to the great RTS game Tempest Rising. Titled The Veti’s Wrath, you’ll get some explosive new missions to play. In my initial review of the game I thought it was really good.
You only need to pay for it if you want the missions too – the faction is free for multiplayer which sounds like a nice compromise so multiplayer isn’t split. There’s even a demo of the DLC available with multiple missions and multiplayer against bots to try it out.

Some key points of the DLC:
- Features 11 new single-player Campaign missions where you will play as the Veti
- The Veti Faction roster includes: 9 Buildings, 7 Vehicles, 6 Infantry Units, 5 Air Units, 5 Defensive Structures, 5 Specialists, 5 Support Powers, and 1 Superweapon
- The Campaign expansion will be a paid DLC; we will share more information about the release at a later date
- Playing as the Veti in Multiplayer will be FREE for all owners of the Tempest Rising base game. This includes Matchmaking, Custom Games, and Skirmish modes.
